Sarah Allison Named Huntingdon Sports Information Director

Montgomery, Ala.—Sarah Miles Allison has joined the Huntingdon College Department of Athletics as sports information director, athletic director Eric Levanda announced today.

“Sarah Miles Allison has earned experience in the marketing and communication realm both during and after her collegiate playing experience,” said Levanda. “We are excited to welcome her to the team.”

Allison is a graduate of the University of West Alabama with a degree in integrated marketing and communications, concentrating in sports communications. While at UWA she was a softball student-athlete and served as an assistant and intern in the sports information office and in the housing office. Since graduating in 2019 she has worked in marketing and digital media.

“Sarah received valuable experience in a variety of sports under the former director of athletic communications and now athletic director at UWA, Kent Partridge,” said Levanda. “Her experience at West Alabama coupled with her communication skill-set make her a great fit for Huntingdon College.”

“I am super excited to be back in the sports world and to bring fresh insights to Huntingdon,” said Allison. “Sports have been my life since I can remember, and I’m looking forward to wearing the scarlet and grey.”

Huntingdon offers twenty NCAA-Division III athletic teams and participates in the USA South Athletic Conference.

Allison began her position August 1.

Huntingdon College is a residential liberal arts college of the United Methodist Church offering the Bachelor of Arts in more than thirty programs of study, as well as the Master of Athletic Training program.
