Convenient parking is nearby in several lots adjacent to buildings and residence halls. Freshmen and others park in the Narrow Lane Parking Lot, next to Ligon Hall. (See the campus map.) Upperclassmen may park in the Bankhead-Searcy Lot. Seniors may park in the Blount Lot. Other lots include Wilson Lot and Smith Music Building Lot, the latter of which is reserved for commuters.

During the first week of classes, you will go to the Security Office (Wilson 112) to obtain a parking permit. You will need to know your driver’s license and license plate numbers, along with the make and model of your vehicle. Parking permits are issued at no charge.

Students may not park in visitor spaces or in faculty/staff spaces. You will be given guidelines when you obtain your parking permit to inform you of where to park.
