The 58th Miss Huntingdon is Crowned
Montgomery, AL – On Saturday, March 7 in historic Ligon Chapel, Flowers Hall, 17 Huntingdon women competed for the title of Miss Huntingdon. The contestants were evaluated by outside judges on interview, on-stage introduction, presentation of their philanthropy, on-stage question, self-expression, and poise.
Kendall Taylor of Prattville, Alabama was named Miss Huntingdon 2026. Angelina Mazza of Boca Raton, Florida was named First Runner-Up, and Regan Burrage of Luverne, Alabama was named Second Runner-Up.
Other recognitions included Michaela Gaines of Montgomery, Alabama as Miss Philanthropic. Miss Philanthropic was named for the contestant that raised the most money for her philanthropy. Michaela’s philanthropy was the Hawaii Wildlife Fund and was awarded over $5,400. Aniyah Griffin of Pinson, Alabama was named Self Expression Fan Favorite by the crowd at the pageant and Savanna Fain of Montgomery, Alabama was honored by her fellow contestants as Miss Congeniality.
Miss Huntingdon 2026, Kendall Taylor is a junior from Prattville, Alabama majoring in history. She is involved in Chi Omega Sorority, the Marching Scarlet and Grey, the History Club, and Order of Omega. Her philanthropy for her reign is Reach Out and Read-Alabama.
First Runner-Up, Angelina Mazza is a junior from Boca Raton, Florida majoring in sports management with a minor in business leadership. She serves on the Huntingdon Residential Life staff, is the Vice President of SGA, a member of SAAC, and competes in both Women’s Soccer and Women’s Tennis. Her philanthropy was Well Woman Alabama.
Second Runner-Up, Regan Burrage is a freshman from Luverne, Alabama majoring in elementary education with a concentration in special education collaborative. She serves as a Hawks Cheerleader, Student Recruiter and is a member of Phi Mu Sorority. Her philanthropy was The Arc of Alabama.
Miss Philanthropic, Michaela Gaines is a junior from Montgomery, Alabama, double majoring in biology and religion. She is involved in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Kingswood Scholars, and serves as a Student Recruiter and a Huntingdon Ambassador. Her philanthropy was the Hawaii Wildlife Fund.
Fan Favorite, Aniyah Griffin is a sophomore from Pinson, Alabama, majoring in criminal justice. She is a member of the Women’s Wrestling Team, Chi Omega Sorority, the Pre-Law Club, and the Black Student Union. Her philanthropy was The Heart of Alabama Foodbank.
Miss Congeniality, Savanna Fain is a sophomore from Montgomery, Alabama, double majoring in Psychology and Communication Studies. She is involved in Dance Line, Campus Ministries Leadership, Psychology Club, and serves as a Student Recruiter. Her philanthropy was Child Protect.
Seventeen women total competed for the title including the following outstanding contestants:
Brittani Adkins is a sophomore from Odenville, Alabama, majoring in elementary collaborative special education. She serves as the Recruitment Chair for Chi Omega Sorority and is actively involved in Kingswood and Campus Ministries. Her philanthropy was United Ability.
Savannah Braun is a freshman from Red Level, Alabama, majoring in elementary education with a focus on special education collaborative. She is involved in SGA, the Freshman Leadership Initiative, and the Murphy Scholars program. Her philanthropy was the Alabama Sheriff’s Youth Ranch.
Abigail Brooks is a sophomore from Valley, Alabama, majoring in biology and serving as a Presidential Scholar. She is involved in peer mentoring and the Environmental and Sustainability Club. Her philanthropy was the Chattahoochee Humane Society.
Avril Cummings is a sophomore from Jasper, Alabama, majoring in exercise science on the pre-physical therapy track. She is a member of Hawks Cheerleading, Phi Mu Sorority, SGA, and Panhellenic. Her philanthropy was Reading is Fundamental.
Mollie Furr is a junior from Andalusia, Alabama, majoring in biochemistry on the pre-health track. She serves as a Student Recruiter and a Huntingdon Ambassador, is Philanthropy Chair for Chi Omega Sorority, and currently holds the role of Vice President of Panhellenic. Her philanthropy was Night to Shine.
Campbell Irmscher is a freshman from Huntsville, Alabama, majoring in biochemistry on the pre-health track. She serves as Marketing Co-Chair for the Freshman Leadership Initiative and is a SGA Senator. Her philanthropy was the Joy to Life Foundation.
Virginia Jeter is a sophomore from Red Level, Alabama, majoring in chemistry. She serves as Director of Chapter Property for Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority and is involved in Hawks Cheerleading, the Pre-Health Club, and is a Student Recruiter. Her philanthropy was SpineHope.
Laikleigh Ridge is a sophomore from Smiths Station, Alabama majoring in athletic training with a minor in psychology. She serves as a member of the Residence Life staff, participates in SGA, and is a member of Order of Omega. Her philanthropy was the Wounded Warrior Project.
Alli Smith is a freshman from Tallassee, Alabama, majoring in exercise science on the pre-athletic training track. She is a member of the Women’s Wrestling Team, Freshman Leadership Initiative, and Chi Omega Sorority. Her philanthropic platform was the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Emma Thomas is a junior from Enterprise, Alabama, double majoring in business administration and religion. She is involved in the Campus Ministries Worship Team and the Business Club. Her philanthropy was Partners in Environmental Education.

Madison Tucker is a freshman from Prattville, Alabama, majoring in physical therapy. She is also part of the Huntingdon College Presidential Scholars program. Her philanthropy was Embrace Alabama Kids.
The Miss Huntingdon Pageant is an annual event through the Office of Student Development. Scholarships are awarded to Miss Huntingdon, First Runner-Up, and Second Runner-Up. The pageant staff directors were Malori Butler and Molly Willis, student directors were Blair Wyrosdick ’26; Linley McNew ’28, Miss Huntingdon 2025; and Kalee Russell ’27, Miss Huntingdon 2024. Kendall Taylor was crowned by Linley McNew, Miss Huntingdon 2025. The Program Hosts for the pageant were Callie Shiver ’26 and Jayy Holmes ’26.
