The Huntingdon Family Mourns the Loss of Student Kedra Curtis

Dear Huntingdon Family,

It is with deep sadness I share the news that one of our students, Kedra Curtis, passed away this morning at Baptist Hospital. Her death is a devastating loss to our Huntingdon family, and we grieve with Kedra’s family and friends. Kedra was a member of the women’s basketball team and was a major in the Department of Sport Science and Physical Education. She was and will remain a member of the Class of 2019.

The Hut will be open this afternoon as a gathering place for those who would like to talk further or seek counseling or comfort. Kelley Rehm, the College Counselor, Chaplain Rhett Butler, Dean Fran Taylor, and Student Affairs staff members welcome you.

When we learn the family’s plans for a service of remembrance, we will share that information with you.

May our kindness to each other honor her memory.
