Professional Licensure/Certification Disclosure

Federal and state regulations require that all institutions of higher education comply with existing state laws regarding distance learning.

Huntingdon College is a participating member of NC-SARA (the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement).This membership allows Huntingdon College to offer distance education courses to students from most states across the United States.

Undergraduate Programs

All applicable programs prepare students to sit for certification in Alabama. In order to comply with U.S. Department of Education regulations regarding distance education and professional licensure/certification, Huntingdon College is required to make the following disclosure with respect to professional licensure/certification outside the state of Alabama. Please contact applicable licensure board(s) in any state you may want to pursue licensure prior to beginning the academic program.

Graduate Programs

Huntingdon College began offering a Master of Athletic Training (MAT) in the Summer of 2021. The MAT Program is currently completing the process of program review for accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CATTE). Upon successful completion of the accreditation process, graduates of the Huntingdon College MAT Program will be eligible sit for the licensure examination.
