- Alanna Benjamin ’21 completed a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Samford University in December 2025.
- Ashanti Thomas ’22 completed a master’s degree in counseling from Alabama A&M University in December 2025.
- Madison Chastain ’23 completed a master’s degree in nutrition science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in December 2025. She has also accepted a position as a Clinical Dietitian at UAB.

Retirements/Promotions/Honors/General News
- Ream Stokley ’90 and Jennifer Grundy Stokley ’91 moved to Tennessee where Ream is a captain at Southwest Airlines and Jennifer is General Counsel at Nasha, a nonprofit association which governs the ACH payments system.
- Dr. Elizabeth Glavan Munoz ’05 is co-author on an article published in The Journal of Radiology Nursing, “The Critical Role of Nurses: Enhancing Patient Care Through Interprofessional and Interprofessional Collaboration in the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Imaging Environment.”
- Chris Saba ’08 was appointed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to the position of County Court Judge in Hillsborough County, Florida.
- Granger Shook ’09 was named River Region 6A/7A Coach of the Year. He serves as the Head Football Coach at Pike Road High School and led his team to the 6A state football quarterfinals.
- Dr. John Sloan ’11 was promoted to the Director of Operations for the West and Southwest Business Units for Walmart Health and Wellness.
- Whitney Toole ’13 was named Coach of the Year by the Montgomery Advertiser. Coach Toole led her Montgomery Catholic flag football team to the state championship game.
- Tyler Robinson ’14 has been named Coach of the Year by Central Alabama Standouts. The Saint Clair County Head Football Coach led his team to the second round of the 5A state playoffs.
- Taylor Calloway ’15 was honored as a WSFA 12 News Class Act Teacher in December 2025. Taylor is a teacher at Billingsley School.
- Lauren Lambert Kirk ’15 was named the Sophia P. Kingston Elementary School Teacher of the Year and a finalist for Teacher of the Year in the Selma City School District.
- Alicia Gauker ’16 was named an Operational Excellence Innovator by Georgia Tech where she serves as a Communications Program Manager.
- Dylan Martin ’18 has been named to the Mid-South Super Lawyers Rising Stars List. Dylan is an attorney with the Beasley Allen law firm in Montgomery.
- Adam Mann ’19 has been named the tight ends coach at the University of South Alabama.
- Chassity Page Erhardt ’20 has completed the requirements and been approved as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
- Nathan John ’25 was elected President of the Faulkner University Physician Assistant Student Leadership Board.
In Memoriam
- Bettye Lassetter DeVan ’52 passed away on December 3, 2025, in Homewood, Alabama.
- Mary Dell Cotney Parker ’57 passed away on December 30, 2025, in Waycross, Georgia.
- Robert N. Phillips ’67 passed away on December 22, 2025, in Pelham, Alabama. We extend condolences to his wife, Susan Phillips ’67.
- Jane Hart Brooks ’68 passed away on November 30, 2025, in Trussville, Alabama.
- Gail Thielen Lolly ’78 passed away on December 3, 2025, in Bainbridge, Georgia.
- Ann Smith Bedsole, a long-time friend and supporter of the College, passed away on December 1, 2025, in Mobile, Alabama. Ann was a former member of the Huntingdon Board of Trustees, a member of the Huntingdon Society, and a previous recipient of an honorary doctorate. She was the daughter of Sybil Smith, a member of the class of 1926, for whom Sybil Smith Hall is named.
