Huntingdon Celebrates Largest Incoming Class in College History
Montgomery, AL – The 2025-2026 academic year is in full swing at Huntingdon and it includes the largest incoming class of students in College history. 380 new students have made themselves at home in the first three weeks of school, getting oriented to the college classroom experience, settling into residence halls, and joining student organizations and teams.
“This is a banner incoming class of students for Huntingdon,” stated Huntingdon President Anthony Leigh. “They are exceptional not only in the number of them, but they have tremendously impressed us with their initial spirit of involvement and excitement to be part of the Huntingdon family.”
The number of new students combined with an increase in the number of returning students led to a 7 percent increase in total enrollment over the 2024 Fall enrollment figure.
“Huntingdon is increasingly recognized as one of the South’s premier pre-professional colleges,” stated President Leigh. “Our students and their families choose Huntingdon because of our great academic environment and the participatory engagement in the life of the College by our students. We are already seeing great admission activity for the Fall 2026 enrollment, and we invite high school students and their families to consider making a visit to Huntingdon this Fall.”
