Huntingdon College Announces Faculty Hall of Fame

Montgomery, AL – Huntingdon College President Anthony Leigh has announced the creation of the Huntingdon College Faculty Hall of Fame. 

“One of the great continuums of Huntingdon College is an exemplary teaching faculty,” stated President Leigh. “Alumni across the decades speak in reverential tones about the wisdom of their former professors, the mentoring they received during and after their Huntingdon experience, and the life-changing influence of teachers who saw their promise and helped shape their futures. Establishing the Faculty Hall of Fame gives us a meaningful way to annually celebrate the men and women who devoted their lives to our students and to the mission of the college.”

Those eligible for recognition must be former Huntingdon faculty members. Nominations must include the faculty member’s name, academic department or courses taught, and a paragraph about the individual’s teaching and impact on Huntingdon students and alumni. Nominations should be emailed to alumni@hawks.huntingdon.edu and will be accepted through July 15, 2026.  After a committee review, two faculty will be selected as inaugural inductees and honored at the Huntingdon Homecoming Awards Convocation on October 9, 2026.
