Huntingdon President Declares 2025-2026 “The Year of Celebration”

Montgomery, AL – On Tuesday, August 5, Huntingdon President Anthony Leigh announced at a welcome back luncheon for the Huntingdon faculty and staff that the 2025-2026 theme for the year at Huntingdon is “The Year of Celebration.”

“We have much to celebrate at Huntingdon,” proclaimed President Leigh. “A strong enrollment, facility enhancements, success in NCAA Division III athletics, and a growing reputation as one of the South’s premier pre-professional colleges and a model college of the United Methodist Church are great reasons to cheer.”

“I expect this theme will give every Huntingdon person, academic department, club, team and organization an opportunity to celebrate their important presence as part of Huntingdon College.  Throughout the year, I look forward to celebrating our great student body, our dedicated and student-centered faculty and staff, our army of loyal and distinguished alumni, as well as the distinctive characteristics about Huntingdon that make us a rare and unique institution in higher education in Alabama.”
