Miss Ruby is ‘Wrapped’ Around our Hearts
Montgomery, Ala. – One of the most loved and adored members of the Huntingdon College family is Miss Ruby Barton, a 30-year veteran of the Huntingdon College dining hall staff. Cherished for her smile and genuine care for all Huntingdon students and staff, Miss Ruby commands a line to see her for her Huntingdon famous sandwich wraps.
We asked a random sample of Huntingdon freshmen what their go-to order is when they are in Miss Ruby’s wrap line and here are their responses:
Ria Lugo ’27 — “When I’m standing in line for a wrap by Miss Ruby I like to get a spinach wrap with ranch, American cheese, lettuce, and turkey or ham and chicken!”
Abby Cuppari ’27 – “My go to order is a spinach wrap with mayo and white cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, shredded chicken and salami. I get it every day for lunch!”
Sam Kelley ’27 – “A spinach wrap, with ranch and chipotle sauce, lettuce, tomato, ham and turkey, toasted.”
Aidan Cox ’27 – “My go-to order is a toasted white wrap with chipotle and ranch sauce, lettuce, tomato, white cheese, turkey, and chicken. Miss Ruby’s wraps are always the best and keep me coming back for more!”
Olivia Carter ’27 – “White wrap, mayo, chipotle sauce, white cheese, lettuce, tomato, chicken, turkey, toast it.”
Conley McCormick ’27 – “I get chicken, white cheese and lettuce on a spinach wrap.”
Tristin Robinson ’27 – “My go to order is a spinach wrap with ranch, lettuce, tomatoes, and turkey! Toasted, always toasted!”
Reagan Barrett ’27 – “My go to order is a white wrap with mayo, chicken and white cheese and it has to be toasted!!”
Ayanna Blanco ’27 – “A Spinach wrap with chipotle and ranch. Then white cheese with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, chicken and then you toast it. And of course, a scoop of chicken salad on the side!”
Sam Hathcock ’27 – “Wheat tortilla with chipotle and ranch and then lettuce, ham, and turkey.”
Caytlin Petrova ’27 – “Yes, we love Miss Ruby! Ciabatta bread or spinach wrap with chipotle and ranch dressing. White American cheese, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, chicken and/or turkey. Toasted of course!”
