Off-campus Housing Eligibility
In order to be eligible to live off-campus, you must meet at least one of the following requirements. Please choose one: * Required
- I will reside with a parent or as a dependent of a guardian or custodian (as determined by the IRS) at a permanent residence, as determined by the address listed on my Application for Admission, within 45 miles driving distance of Huntingdon College. Instructions: complete and submit Part A online; download, print, and complete Part B in writing and obtain a signature from your parent, guardian, or custodian; submit Part B as an attachment emailed to res.life@hawks.huntingdon.edu . I understand that at the discretion of the Office of Residential Communities I may be required to interview by phone or in person or submit additional documentation in support of my application for Commuter Status. I understand that I must complete this process and obtain approval from the Dean of Students before May 1 or within 10 days of the date of acceptance if accepted after May 1 for the fall semester or before December 1 (returning students) or January 1 (new students) for the spring semester. For those who do not meet the applicable deadlines, a $500 late fee will be applied.
- I am married or reside with at least one dependent child for whom I provide more that 50% of the child’s support. Instructions: Complete Parts A and C and submit online by the deadline of May 1 or within 10 days of the date of acceptance if accepted after May 1 for the fall semester or by December 1 (returning students) or January 1 (new students) for the spring semester.

I understand that students who provide the College with false information before or after the off-campus living request process will be subject to sanctions that may include separation from the College. I also understand that if I occupy an address that is not the residence listed on this form I will be subject to the full room and board price of the current semester.
