Welcome Commuters! We are so excited you have chosen Huntingdon College as your “home away from home”! As students who live off campus, you will have unique experiences that are not experienced by your peers. We are committed to ensuring your transition to Huntingdon College is smooth and exciting.
Parking and Information
- Parking Permits: If you’re driving to campus, you’ll need a commuter parking permit to access designated lots. During the first week of classes, register your vehicle and obtain a parking permit in the Security Office (Wilson 112). You will need to know your driver’s license and license plate numbers, along with the make and model of your vehicle. Parking permits are issued at no charge. Lots designated for commuter parking are Wilson Lot, Smith Lot, Narrow Lane Lot, Searcy Gravel Lot, Searcy Lot (with restrictions), and the Cloverdale Campus Lot. View the full list of Huntingdon’s traffic and parking policies.
- Campus Map: We know getting to campus is just the first step — finding the best spots once you’re here matters, too. Our campus map includes an interactive tour to highlight the quickest paths to classrooms and student spaces. It’s designed to save you time, reduce stress, and help you feel at home the moment you arrive. View our campus map on Huntingdon’s Walking Tour.
- Commuter Meal Plans: Even if you don’t live on campus, you can still enjoy the convenience of dining here. The $1,000 Commuter Student Fee includes one Block 30 Commuter Meal Plan (30 meals and $300 flex point ($600). Whether you want a quick coffee, a grab-and-go lunch, or a sit-down meal, having a plan makes it easy (and often more affordable) to eat on campus. You may also add Flex Points to your student account/ID to be used in any of the dining/convenience areas or other Aramark dining or snack facilities (ie. Coffee Shop, The POD, etc.). Visit the Financial Aid office to add Flex Point or submit a Cayzu to add Flex Point if you have a credit on your student account.
- Dining Options: From quick snacks or coffees between classes to full meals with friends, commuters have plenty of dining choices on campus. Commuter students have access to our Julia Russell Dining Hall, Hawk Trailer, Scarlet and Grey Shop, The Coffee House, and P.O.D Express through their commuter meal plan. Daily menus and hours for each location are available.
