Huntingdon Offers Academic Showcase

Montgomery, Ala.—Huntingdon College academic programs will hold an Academic Showcase, Friday, February 17, 2023. Presentations will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m. and are free and open to the public. Following is the schedule of events:

8:00–8:45 a.m. Presidential Fellows Showcase, with presentations by the Academic Mentoring Team; the Politics, Culture, and Civic Engagement Team; and the Sports Media and Marketing Team; Scarlet & Grey Shop, The Phyllis and Gene Stanaland House at Huntingdon College
9:00–9:20 a.m. Choral Showcase, Huntingdon Concert Choir; Ligon Chapel, Flowers Hall
9:30–11:30 a.m. Paper Presentations by students in the English, Communication Studies, History and Political Science, and Religion programs; Flowers Hall 2nd Floor
11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Lunch Break
Student Organizational Fair; Russell Dining Hall
Presentation and Dedication of the Phillis Wheatley Memorial Plaque; Houghton Memorial Library
1:00–2:00 p.m. Poster Viewing
