Educator Preparation:

Pre-Professional Studies:

English is an excellent major for entry into graduate study or into professional study in nearly any field. Huntingdon English graduates achieve a strong command of writing and critical thinking skills—an advantage when seeking admission to graduate or professional programs or employment after graduation.

Preparing students for seminaries, for graduate or professional studies, and for church vocations.

Students may earn a Certificate in Youth Ministry through the United Methodist Church by completing the major and certification requirements. See the department chair for details.

The School of Graduate and Evening Studies includes the Evening Bachelor’s Degree Program, the Master of Athletic Training Program (under development), and future graduate programs as authorized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
