CAB

The Program

Huntingdon College seeks dynamic, spirited women and men committed to service as campus leaders and to engagement in student activities.  Students accepted into the Kingswood Initiative Campus Activities Board (CAB) will have a four-year experience serving in campus organizations, developing their leadership skills, designing and implementing student activities, and working alongside the Office of Student Development. Students in the Campus Activities Board will work collectively to advance the engagement of the student body in campus activities.  Interested students should demonstrate a strong and consistent experience as leaders in clubs and organizations while in high school; possess a high degree of school spirit; and have a willingness to make campus involvement the cornerstone of their Huntingdon experience outside of the classroom.  

Applications for the Campus Activities Board will be reviewed by the Office of Admissions and the Office of Student Development. Acceptance into the CAB carries a $16,000 scholarship (for students entering in fall 2025), renewable for a total of four years, with the expectation of full participation in the CAB programming.

Eligibility for Consideration:

Note: Because of the time commitment involved in this program, the CAB is not open to students who are involved in intercollegiate athletic teams, Esports, the Presidential Scholars Program, dance, cheer, or band. To be considered for the CAB, a student must:

• Apply and be admitted to Huntingdon College without conditions;
• Complete the CAB Application and submit it, along with a resume that includes the student’s leadership and involvement in high school and/or community activities.

Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis until all CAB spaces are awarded.
